The Wonder of 4th and Main Street

Believe in the magic of the season

Magic is in the air this time of year, especially in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. The innocence, joy, and anticipation of the holiday season can be seen in children and adults alike during annual events such as the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Town Square, or as “Dickens of a Christmas” transforms Main Street with horse drawn carriages and Victorian-era costumes, and as musicians and carolers sing popular Christmas tunes amidst sparkling lights and decorations lining every street corner. Some may say “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”! Yes, the most wonderful time, indeed!

It’s a season of good cheer, holiday greetings, and happy hearts when loved ones come near. It’s a season of jingle belling, candlelight caroling, and family celebrations filled with gifts and holiday feasts. The notion of Christmas translates into different things to different people, but the most common theme surrounding the holiday season is consistently giving.

At Christmastime, Downtown Franklin not only comes alive with holiday cheer, but the small business owners compromising most of the shops up and down Main Street are geared up for the joy of the holiday shopping. There is nothing comparable to the home-town feel of strolling Franklin’s Main Street and finding the perfect, one-of-a-kind gift for a loved one. What better way to surprise someone special than with a gift of beautiful design by Harlin Meyerhoff, on the corner of, (YES!) 4th and Main, 400 Main Street!

The stars may have aligned on the day we met Melanie Meyerhoff, as our paths were sure to cross on this beloved Main Street corner of Downtown Franklin. A dear friend of The Inside Story, Melanie Meyerhoff, creates and presents beautiful design in the form of jewelry and gifts. Elegance and artistry evoke the senses and Harlin Meyerhoff’s collection is sure to enhance the season of giving with unique, timeless jewelry and accessories. Melanie not only creates beauty, but she gives to the community, to her family and friends, and most importantly her customers with the “Fruit of the Spirit”, a servant’s heart. After all, giving with a generous heart is one of the great joys of life. It’s the spirit of Christmas!

The Wonder of 4th and Main Street… it’s definitely where the magic happens!

Happy Holidays!
